The Radio Forth's Cash for Kids (the new name for the Help a Child Appeal) has raised over £2.5 million for special children across Edinburgh, the Lothians and Fife.

Each year Cash for Kids reaches out and lights up the lives of even more special children in our own area.  Your fundraising can turn  tears to laughter and we couldn’t continue to help children without your support.  There are  so many different ways you can fundraise, and have fun at the same time!  Every single penny counts, so whether you raise pennies or pounds, it all helps.  And there is no age barrier to helping the children.  From Primary school kids to Grannies and Grandpas – everyone can do something.  Sponsored silences, slimming, swimming, running, walking, dancing, knitting, anything you can do that can be sponsored makes more Cash for Kids.  If you have an idea, or if you want some ideas, then get in touch and we’ll be happy to provide you with what you need

Our station football team, The Radio Forth Allstars play charity matches against opposition who agree to raise a minimum of £500.  If your office/company/factory has a football team and would like to take on the Allstars then get in touch.

We also have an annual Win A Day Off - in which we encourage listeners to, well, bring a pound to work!   It's SO simple.  All you need to do is to ask your workmates if they'd like to help needy children in this area.   If they say yes then get a pound off them and give it to us!   It doesn't matter whether you work in an office with just a handful of people or a factory with hundreds - every pound counts and we'd love you to get involved.  For more information and to register contact our Cash for Kids co-ordinators by clicking here.
