1st Steps Dance & Movement Classes for under 5’s provides fun dancing, singing, action, stories, rhymes, play and movement classes for babies and young children. We run classes in a friendly and informal manner so you can be safe in the knowledge that your child and maybe you too will learn dancing in a stimulating and secure environment.

Back for another year, these popular trips on the historic MV Maid of the Forth continue until the 14th. During the three-hour journey visitors will get the chance to catch sight of some of Scotland’s most precious and spectacular seabirds, as well as learn more about the history of the area. Each trip includes commentary, kids activities, a shop and the chance to spot those famous Forth puffins. The Language Booth is the exclusive provider of lingobaby foreign language play sessions for infants and pre-school age children, the only classes of their kind in Scotland. The bright and welcoming playroom offers a creative and stimulating environment for all learners, however little!

As part of each session and included in the price, your little one will enjoy a healthy snack and drink whilst you refresh yourself with tea, coffee and home-baking. The lingobricolage class offers a healthy snack-lunch for each child with light refreshments available for you.

The Language Booth has pram/buggy ramp access and an indoor buggy parking area. Changing facilities include nappies,wipes and nappy sacks. A quiet area for breast-feeding can be arranged and a digital bottle warmer is provided.

Ceilidh in aid of the local Marie Curie hospice. At the Merlin on Morningside road. Will Marshall Ceilidh band, dancing, raffle and games with great prizes including a 16GB iPod!!

Tickets £15- includes glass of bubbly.

Marie Curie care for patients at the end of their lives, for free, providing emotional support and practical nursing care. Our work is largely funded by donations from the local community and volunteer support.
