Time: 09:30:00 to 16:00:00 Location: Airth The Language Booth is the exclusive provider of lingobaby foreign language play sessions for infants and pre-school age children, the only classes of their kind in Scotland. The bright and welcoming playroom offers a creative and stimulating environment for all learners, however little! As part of each session and included in the price, your little one will enjoy a healthy snack and drink whilst you refresh yourself with tea, coffee and home-baking. The lingobricolage class offers a healthy snack-lunch for each child with light refreshments available for you. The Language Booth has pram/buggy ramp access and an indoor buggy parking area. Changing facilities include nappies,wipes and nappy sacks. A quiet area for breast-feeding can be arranged and a digital bottle warmer is provided. Additional Information | |
| Summer YT Project (Youth Theatre) | |

Time: 09:30:00 to 16:30:00 Location: Southside Community Centre Now in its 5th year, this project gives young people aged 10 - 16 the opportunity to devise, write and perform their own production in two weeks. There are two age groups:- 10 - 12's (who will meet daily from 1.30 - 4.30pm) and 13 - 16's who meet from 9.30 - 12.30. We have funding for four assisted places for those who might have difficulty raising the £70 participation fee. Additional Information | |

Time: 10:00:00 to 18:00:00 Location: Edinburgh zoo gallery SYNCHRONICITY ARTS (formerly Lorna’s Art) is proud to present: ‘BESTIARY’ THURSDAY, JUNE 4TH – SUNDAY AUG 1ST, 2010. Exhibition in the new gallery located in the lobby of the EDINBURGH ZOO. A new and exhibiting art exhibition held in collaboration with the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland, Edinburgh Zoo, and students and alumni from Edinburgh College of Art. All artworks will be for sale, with additional prints available in the gift shop. 50% of the sale price is allocated to Edinburgh Zoo with several pieces donated by the artists giving 100% of the sale directly to the zoo. Time: 10:00:00 to 17:00:00 Location: Almond Valley Heritage Centre the lives of our ancient ancestors will be celebrated in a summer-long programme of activities for children and their families, allowing everyone to play their part in recreating a prehistoric encampment. Workshop sessions will be run every day to teach the skills essential for prehistoric living, and each day a little more will be added to the settlement. Theres a shelter and fences to be built, crops to plant, and livestock to tend. And between all of this hard work theres need to make fire , prepare food, make clothing and bedding, and even go hunting. Additional Information | |
