Jennifer Hudson stole the 2012 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles last night with an emotional performance of Whitney Houston’s signature song ‘I Will Always Love You’.
The annual music bash was overshadowed by Whitney’s untimely death on Saturday. The 48-year-old was discovered dead in her room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel where she was staying ahead of a pre-show party for the Grammys.
While Adele and Chris Brown were both big Grammy winners, it was Jennifer Hudson’s rendition of the Dolly Parton song ‘I Will Always Love You’, as popularised by Whitney, that most people will remember from the night.
