I've always wanted to see a building being blown up for redevelopment.
Sunday the 25th, was the day I can ticked that box.
Yes, I'm slightly jealous of nine year old Lewis Reynolds who pushed the plunger on what imagine to be dynamite with "TNT" written on the side. (Boy trapped in a man's body, I know)
Over 40 years of skyline, gone in 4 seconds!
Check out this video from where I was standing on Calder Road.
Driving past the site on Monday morning, I'm surprised at how little rubble is left behind considering how high the flats were.
